SU2C Stand Up to Cancer Viral Video
Recently I was invited by Tara of TaraMetBlog to participate in a viral video for the Stand Up To Cancer campaign. I thought it turned out really well, and I was so glad to be a part of the project.
I was standing up for my grandma, Annette Pearl Williams, who died of lung cancer in 2000. You can see her likeness painted behind me in the photo used for the SU2C video. I remember how much I loved her creamed eggs on a Sunday morning at Cocoa Beach. And I remember my last night with her, just a week before she passed. Even though her body had been abused by the chemo and radiation, and she needed a portable oxygen tank, she was laying on the floor watching movies with the family, and smiling alot. She is missed very much.
I've also had a number of other ladies in my family touched by cancer, and it's really something important to raise awareness about. Check out this SU2C video, and then explore the links below for information about how you can add your voice to the cause.

To learn about some other ways you can stand up to cancer check out the SU2C Virtual Stand-Up and pass it on.
