Video Game

So I hear from Jerry at M80, a company that's doing work for THQ, makers of the oh so sweet ATV Off Road Fury games.

"hey Kid, pimp our new game, we'll hook you up," he says.

--I say, "whatcha got, and what i gotta do?"

"nothin', just throw some pics up about our new game, MX vs ATV: Untamed."

--I say, "I can do that, watcha got?"

"a demo of MX vs ATV: Untamed for you my friend!"

--"A demo? Gimme the game, cuz! And gimme an Xbox too, cause all I got is two busted-out PSToos."

"I can't give out the whole game. C'mon, just a pic or video for a demo."

--"I really need an Xbox and the game, Jerry. Ok, how 'bout you hook my brother up with a job?"

"What are you talking about? What's that got to do with MX vs ATV?"

--I say, "my brother's T-bird sucks gas, he needs gas money to take me to Walmart to buy the game now, since you ain't givin' me one." Then I tell him, "my blog spiked out 15,000 visitors in the last week, you gotta have sumthin' for us hard working kid bloggers."

Jerry looks left, Jerry looks right, and says, "Kid, you're crazy."

--So I say, "Jerry, forget it, keep your demo. I don't want to do this anymore."

But here's the thing: I'm gonna do it anyway. Why? Because I loved THQ's ATV: Off Road Fury, and that company deserves props. It was a sweet game, and my bro' and I still race in it after over a year of owning it. And because as soon as I heard about MX vs ATV I was into it, and keep buggin my dad to get a better game system so I can play it. So, below is what Jerry wanted me to say, which I promised him I wouldn't, but which I will anyway just because.

MX vs ATV: Untamed kicks it up a notch and shifts into high gear as the best selling offroad franchise returns. Rainbow Studios has evolved their legendary Rhythm Racing™ engine to include throttle based power slides, near upside down whips and new scrubs.

Oh, and I did grab one of their cool widgets. They are pretty slick, with all the vehicles you can turn all around, watch the videos, check the screen shots, etc. If one of you get your hands on this game before I do, drop some comments about it, or tell me where you reviewed it and I'll post a link.
