Type of Site: Cool Widgets

Check out http://www.glassgiant.com/. I found this site because I wanted to make a sign for KidReviewer and it popped up on Google. I was amazed with how many types of sign-making tools there were. You can make signs from anything. You can customize a cookie, keyboard, or even the famous Hollywood sign. They are good for sticking on myspace and blogs.

Here are some examples of signs I’ve made at GlassGiant.com:

movie ticket sign kidreviewer cereal sign giant cookie sign
neon sign bling sign snowglobe sign

boat sign

dog tags sign

keyboard sign

Have fun!

What an interesting way to get people interested in reading! Book trailers are like movie trailers, but for books! You can find them all over the internet now, but here is a site that’s featuring them on YouTube. http://www.youtube.com/booktrailers

My reasons for the excnetmeit stem from Abrams track record – i was one of the LOST loyalists even through the season 2 through 4 and i think LOST was one of the best things to have happened to TV the scale of both the production and the story were massive and i loved everything till the very last episode. Fringe is similarly interesting – it is very x-filesy but still feels fresh and tongue-in-cheek too. must admit i was blown away by the Cloverfield teaser than the actual movie, but Star-trek was brilliant very nearly perfect. plus i think with district 9 i believe the alien genre is on a revival .. so yes in summary i am extremely excited for super 8 :)
